About D Shower Experts
A renovation is disruptive enough without surprises. Our approach is straightforward: look at the room as it is today, talk honestly about what can and cannot be done within your budget, agree the layout and finishes in writing, and only then start demolition.
Much of the work that decides how long a bathroom lasts is hidden — the waterproofing behind the tile, the slope toward the drain, the ventilation that moves moist air out of the room.

A Common Request
It is the conversation we hear most often. An old alcove tub takes up the best space in the bathroom, the step-over height keeps getting harder, and nobody in the house actually takes baths.
A conversion keeps the drain and water lines roughly where they are, replaces the tub with a shower base or tiled floor, and opens the room up. Add a handheld shower and a grab bar or two, and the same bathroom becomes easier for everyone — kids, parents and grandparents alike.
How We Work
Four stages, in order. You will always know which stage your project is in and what happens next.
We talk through what you want to change, visit the bathroom, measure, and look at the condition of the plumbing, floor and walls.
You receive a written scope listing the work, the products and finishes allowed for, and the price in Canadian dollars — so you can decide without pressure.
Demolition, rough-in work, waterproofing, tile and installation, in that order. We protect the rest of your home and keep you posted as each stage finishes.
We go through the finished bathroom together, test every fixture with you, explain care for tile, grout and glass, and note anything that still needs attention.
